Moonlight is Australia’s largest outdoor chain and takes place in national parks around the country during the Summer months.

When Moonlight approached us to design their season identity, there was a certain amount of confusion in the marketplace about the various outdoor cinemas. They needed something to set them apart.

We created a bold identity based around what made Moonlight unique – the beautiful natural settings in which it screens its movies, and the experience that it offers its audience. The result was a whimsical, illustrative identity that utilised the moon & nature as devices to set them apart.

Attendance increased in all states, and rose by 68% on the previous year in one state.
